Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is to further the mission of the Salisbury area Chamber of Commerce by supporting the members, businesses, residents, and community of Delmarva. We do this by accruing funds through grants, gifts, fundraising and working on projects alongside the Chamber to help nurture and develop our community.

Gail Schnell – Project Opportunity Class of 2011 (Eastern Shore) –  Gail Schnell is a US Army Operation Enduring Freedom veteran. She is Security+ and CISSP certified, meeting 8570 compliance. She graduated from Project Opportunity and V-Wise in 2011. Then she created Schnell-Tech Solutions LLC, an IT Consulting and Contracting company. It is Woman-owned, Minority-owned, and Veteran-Owned. In 2012, she was the recipient of the Rising Star Honoree Award at the Woman Veterans Rock Rally in Washington, DC. Gail and her company mentored middle school girls in Cybersecurity ( http://womenscyberjutsu.com/archives/4406 ). Schnell-Tech Solutions LLC and Gail was featured in an article for APG called “Vet business owners network, share lessons”  (http://www.army.mil/article/91882/Vet_business_owners_network_share_lessons/).

Gail was selected for a Fellowship through The Mission Continues and F7, where we cleaned and improved the San Diego River Garden and then took our Oath as veterans pledging to improve our communities. She worked on service projects that assisted other veterans and her community. During her fellowship, she organized a renovation of The American Legion as well as a Career & Resource Fair for Veterans. In 2013, she was selected as a Women Veteran Entrepreneur Corps Pitch Winner ( http://www.countmein.org/Count-Me-Ins-Women-Veteran-Entrepreneur-Corps-Pitch-Winners). Gail was selected for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) Program at Syracuse University. She was also a panelist and was honored at the Woman Veterans Summer Retreat during the “Leaders & Legends Luncheon”.
